Emily Herrera is a Dallas Texas Artist and Interior Designer. She has been a resident of Dallas since 2004, making it her home after finishing her BFA at the University of North Texas. Her goal as an artist is to create original works of art at affordable prices, encouraging people to fill their homes with unique pieces.
My preferred medium is acrylic and metal leafing. Water plays a large role in most of my pieces. I have found that using water with acrylics can create depth and layers that draw the eye and enhance emotions. The drips and washes flow in unexpected ways while the leafing adds light and fire creating key point of visual interest.
